7DFPS Project - Day 4 (Video)

Hey. So, I've been working on a game project to enter in the 7DFPS challenge - a challenge based around making an FPS in 7 days. It's currently day 4, and I've gotten a pretty good amount done!


I'm not sure how far I'll get before the challenge is over, considering that I don't have a huge amount of time left, but I really like the way this is looking, so I'll probably stick with it all the way through to the end.

  1. why its so blurred? I love the bloom effect in sky but I think when u enter a dungeon the blur must be less :) Nice work :)

    1. Not sure why I didn't respond to this. The blur effect is heavy, indeed, but I've since toned it down. Thanks!

  2. The graphics look really good. I guess I'm a little behind the times when it comes to 3d accelerated stuff. If you released this video in the mid to late 90's and said it was for an upcoming game, people would have had their jaws on the floor for a week. What development tool are you using for this?

    1. Blender for the game engine and 3D modeling, with GIMP for the textures (though I mainly got them from texture sites). Thanks a lot!
